The Image Archive Demo is run within a Java Applet. Note that the applet is large and may take several minutes to load. When prompted to trust the signed applet, please click yes. At start up, a dialog box will pop up asking for an input Patient ID, Scan Type, Start Time, and End Time. A Patient ID and Scan Type must be selected from the pull down box in order to run the demo, however the dates may be left blank as a default setting. Specific dates may be input given the format mm/dd/yyyy. Once the input values have been set, press the Search button, in order to start the query. A list of resulting files from the query will then be displayed in a new window. From here, the image file to display is selected as well as a 2D or 3D view mode. The Show Image button can then be pressed in order to display the image. After some time, dependant on the size of the returned data set, the desired images will be output to a new window. The image metadata will be displayed in a panel to the right of the
image. To display the next or previous image set from the list of
generated image files, click the Next Image or Previous Image buttons
respectively. In the 2D mode, to cycle through the different image slices of each
image set, click on the image itself with the mouse. In the 3D mode,
control to the mode, rotation, and contour surfaces are available for
different views. |
